“Let me first start with good news. The salt mine is an amazing experience and the Koeningsee is beautiful. So well worth it. However, had the most terrible guide. The way the day is structured is you go to the mine and then get to Koeningsee around 12:30 and take the boat. At the start of the day, I asked the guide what the plan was for lunch. She said schedule is tight so won’t be able to sit down, will have to grab and go. She told us basically we couldn’t eat lunch. We get to Koeningsee and there are literally 20 eating spots!!!
