I didn't have any expectations for the salt mine but it was a fun experience because of the slides, however, I just wish we had more time at the lake instead. I recommend bringing your own lunch to eat closer to the lake and enjoy the views, because the restaurant services there take a lot of time, and considering you only get less than one hour free time at the lake it's not worth…”

“Let me first start with good news. The salt mine is an amazing experience and the Koeningsee is beautiful. So well worth it. However, had the most terrible guide. The way the day is structured is you go to the mine and then get to Koeningsee around 12:30 and take the boat. At the start of the day, I asked the guide what the plan was for lunch. She said schedule is tight so won’t be able to sit down, will have to grab and go. She told us basically we couldn’t eat lunch. We get to Koeningsee and there are literally 20 eating spots!!! She made us wait 20…”

“Busy day but with a very good organization. Fortunately, organized with Philip, at the foot of the accommodation, who knows this organization inside out and who has oiled all this machinery. This has a cost, but without it, the visits could not have taken place. We had also chosen not to visit the salt mines, and it was a good choice because we enjoyed the lake all morning with a very nice walk, then the Eagle's Nest where we spent the afternoon. It was a reasonable pace, as there is a lot of road to get to this place”
